ASSOCIATION CERTIFICATES
Grandmaster Cheng Wan (aged 84 in 2008) still prepares traditional kungfu recipes. He has long been a certified herbalist from the Kowloon Traditional Chinese Medicine College of Hong Kong and a member of the Kowloon Chinese Herbalists Association. He is also keeper of the Chu Gar Mantis herbal formulas!

FIRST USA
CHU GAR SIFU
In 1975, Sifu Gene Chen
received certification
as the first teacher of Chu Gar Praying Mantis in the United States. This certificate was awarded by popular vote of the Chu Gar Tong Long Guoshu Association of Hong Kong. Association Chairpersons were Sun Yu Hing, Dong Yet Long,
and Zhang Sing.
